Frederick Schenck Barkalow Papers 1931 - 1982

Born in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Barkalow received a B.S. in Chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1936. Three years later, he received an M.S. in Zoology from the University of Michigan. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army where he rose to the rank of Lt. Colonel. Following the War, he received a Ph.D. in Zoology at Michigan.
